Gap at the top for Pages... but not for Posts

I truly love your theme — great job.
I want to use this within an iframe inside my Wordpress blog. You can see the implementation here: 1izen.com/?page_id=789
You’ll see that when I am looking at posts they display properly at the top of the page — directly beneath the RSS links at the very top of the theme.. But when I click on “about” the page drops down, leaving a large gap between the RSS bar ad the text.
I have also implemented it at: medicinemind.org/UB3
(his one works well but has the problem too — just not as much of a gap at the top)
ANy idea why this happens? I have tried all kinds of CSS hacks to stop the gap from happening — no luck.
